Text Formatting

1. Text can be formatted with very simple tags. Here on the table below some common tags are illustrated with examples.

Makes text bold

Makes text italics

<em>

Emphasies the text by making it a bit bigger than the surrounding

<em>text</em>.

2.There are some more tags which are less used now. They are now deprecated .One of such tags is <font>. It can be used to define size ,color and which font to use,

For example <font=”arial,18,blue”>sample text </font> will produce this.

makes the text boldmake the text italics
